Biography of Autor: J. C. Berríos - "Speaking With The Man" (Hablando con El Hombre) (English Version)
Juan Carlos Berrios Urbina, is the overseer of Ministerio Ultima Trompeta http://www.ultimatrompeta.com an online ministry which is well known throughout the Western Hemisphere mainly within the Hispanic community. Mr. Berrios is also the director of MUT Records (www.mutrecords.com) representing Christian singers from all over the globe with all kinds of genres. At the same time, Mr. Berrios helps the homeless of Salt Lake City with counseling and words of encouragement.
Born in Nicaragua in 1969 and raised in the United States of America since 1980, Mr. Berrios has seen both sides of the world: The RICH and the POOR. He has visited and lived in Nicaragua several times between the years 1990 and 2006. Nicaragua is a country considered as the second poorest nation in the Western Hemisphere a strong contrast with the United States being the richest country in the world.
In 1997, Mr. Berrios almost died of several complications (malaria, dengue, and malnourishment) while living in Nicaragua. At this difficult time he lost 40 pounds which was quickly gained when he travelled back to the U.S.A.
In July 2006, Mr. Berrios established Ministerio Ultima Trompeta (Last Trumpet Ministry) with an online radio (Radio Ultima Trompeta) where he has preached on the internet countless hours with the services of Yahoo, Paltalk, MSN, Camstreams and his own Web Pages. People from Sweden, Ghana, Ethiopia, India, Egypt, Japan, Spain, Dominican Republic, Puerto Rico, Argentina, Colombia, Peru, Venezuela, Uruguay, Chile, Ecuador, Panama, Nicaragua, Honduras, El Salvador, Guatemala, Mexico, United States and Canada have looked up to him for guidance, prayer, counseling, and for an uplifting Word.
With Ministerio Ultima Trompeta (Last Trumpet Ministry), Mr. Berrios has entered (virtually speaking) all countries in the Western Hemisphere. The ministry started with one website and the online radio of Radio Ultima Trompeta where he was mainly counseling people in the Dominican Republic. The visits to the ministry's webpage were very low. In early 2007, just a few months after launching www.ultimatrompeta.com pastors and ministers were asking for counsel from Juan Carlos Berrios. In the middle of that same year Mr. Berrios was asked by several pastors in South America, the Caribbean Islands and some in the Western Coast of the USA "how much" he was paying to be on the top list of the search engines. Some even asked "How do you do it so that many people listen to your radio?" and "How do you do it so that you may be everywhere in the search engines?" Not realizing what was going on in the virtual world, Juan Carlos could only praise the LORD JESUS CHRIST for the great wonders HE was doing with Ministerio Ultima Trompeta.
In August 2007, one year after officially launching the site, Mr. Berrios received a request from a singer Jimmy Quait in the Dominican Republic for the promoting and marketing of his first Christian album which was to be named "Este Amor Me Transformó". Juan Carlos Berrios was advised by Jimmy to start a Record Label which for Carlos was something not on the list since his main priority was preaching the Gospel of Our Lord Jesus Christ.
Within a year after been contacted by Jimmy Quait, Ministerio Ultima Trompeta (Last Trumpet Ministry) had acquired more Christian singers for the promoting and marketing of their music. Seeing how things were growing within the ministry, Mr. Berrios had no choice but to officially establish the Record Label of MUT RECORDS. "I can do all things through Christ who strenghts me!" says Mr. Berrios and with this in mind he now has signed 7 different singers into MUT RECORDS and with genres such as Hip Hop, Reggaeton, Country, Acoustic, Cumbias, Banda (Mexican Regional), Electronica and more that is coming its way.
In July 2008, Mr. Berrios finally "sits down" to initiate the writting of his first book called "Speaking With The Man" and on his 40th birthday (January 5th, 2009) he publishes it and makes it available for sale.
MUT Records is now (July 2009) processing 7 compact discs from the group Saca Chispas y Rompe Huesos which has kept him quite busy! Carlos feels the music is another way of preaching the gospel and MUT RECORDS is a bridge which takes the Word of God from the singer to the people.
All things are possible!
